What is Psychoanalytic Therapy?
Psychoanalytic therapy helps make sense of emotional suffering at its roots, rather than simply managing symptoms or giving one-size-fits-all advice. Through honest exploration of emotional reactions and inner conflicts, old patterns are revised and new ways of relating emerge. This process opens a pathway to your desire and clarity about what you really want in life. Psychoanalytic therapy offers a way forward that is more alive.
Services
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
You may feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. You may seek help with a particular question, or want a new way of looking at a long-standing issue. Together, we will make sense of the recurring patterns that are causing distress. As insight deepens, you will be empowered to make more authentic choices and feel less controlled by past experiences. The work unfolds gradually, at your own pace, within a safe and non-judgmental relationship.
COUPLES THERAPY
Relationships can become sources of distress as well as connection. You and your partner may find yourselves locked in the same argument or communicating in ways that leave both of you feeling misunderstood. In couples therapy, we will pay close attention to defenses, repetitive dynamics and unresolved emotions that are often carried over from previous relationships. This work leads to an increased capacity for closeness, empathy and intimacy.
